Abico Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd was formed in 1981 with Bob Burcher as founding member and driving force behind the organisation since its inception.

Bob is well respected in the Illawarra area and is known by many people through his business and sporting activities. He has handpicked his team of professionals and is confident in their insurance knowledge, expertise and dedication.

At the core of Abico’s operations is the belief that no two customers are the same (with services being adjusted to meet individual customer’s specific requirements). Some of the services Abico offers are risk identification and analysis, advice, insurer appraisal, market comparison and claim management. Abico is founded on the principle of providing no-nonsense insurance based on the highest standard of professionalism and ethics.

Abico launched Select Underwriting Agency Pty Ltd in 2006 for the purpose of offering Hollard Insurance policies to its clients. Select Underwriting Agency Pty Ltd is a Corporate Authorized Representative of The Hollard Insurance Company.
